[hats(?)] que pasa me casa su casa now tell me what I’m after…………………….ALL THAT JAZZ - DJ FREASH & MC DARRISON
In less than 24 hours I will be off to the hospital to be poisoned, I know deep down that I have some cells left. I’m not a lucky person at all and everything that I do or happens to me is done the hard way and always costs a shit load.
My caps got sent down from Auckland today and here’s a run-down of the cost
- $600 a month rental
- $150+gst post both ways
- $150 per session for dry ice
- $450 for a new freezer
So yea it’s going to cost like $5350
Will it be worth it? We dam well hope so, the good thing is if you do lose a huge amount of hair you will be given a refund, yays ….well kinda.
Yesterday I had to start taking my anti-sick pills, it turns out they make me sick, stupid steroids.
So today with a feeling of impending doom I ask Mike to make me breakfast ”pretty please, love you”. Take my food and my pills ….yuck. At this point in time he’s had a shower and stared sorting out the caps, this process started at 2am with Mike sorting out the dry ice for the chillers, these caps need to be used on your head at a temperature of -25 -35 deg c. My god this is freezing and I cry when the first cap was put on, it’s like a uber strong ice cream head ache for like five minutes.
The first two caps were on for twenty minutes each, in this time we go to the hospital, me freezing my ass off. While there I have to soak my arm, to make the veins big, (I want to use my “good vein arm”), um surgery arm not a go’er, and they have to use my other arm and thank god they found the vein (remember they have trouble with this one), and one more cap then the flush, then the chemo held up side down in a black bag, I just wanted to draw a skull and cross bones on it….
Another half an hour. Another cap. After about the 5th cap I don’t cry while my forehead is killing me. I have a very low hair line at the back and on a good day I have a 3 head if I’m lucky, seriously if I had a blunt fringe it would be like 3cm long….so I’m hoping by alternating, between covering all my fringe, then cover all my back, because everywhere needs to be kept cold for it to work. So hum lose half a fringe “yea maybe”, it might open up my face or lose the length at the back, please no, I already sulked over having to cut less than 5 cm off. Who’s a sook…………..? I’m a sook.
The nurse seams quite intrigued at my caps, and showed another nurse. Apparently no one has used them down here in Christchurch for about 18 months. So, so far Mike has had to get up at 2am to dry ice them, and then up at 7am to check the temperature, then 8.30 am first cap on then 8.50 next one on. We get to the hospital at 9 soak arm then another cap and this continues for all up, a total of 6 hours.
Right every one lets a cross fingers and hope …………..or a money back guarantee.
I did feel sick when they inject the flush, it tastes, yes tastes, like a dentist injection. The rest of the day I fell sick. Try to eat spend half an hour burping, then try to be sick. Feel better, then feel a bit funny a few hours later, and that was my day.
